About the event

At this moment, children are being subjected to illegal neglect and abuse in our nation's Border Patrol facilities. #AmplifytheChildren is a national initiative to bring the direct sworn testimony of these children, taken in June 2019, to more Americans: to amplify their voices, tell their stories, and elevate the truth.

Chicago’s new musical theatre community is responding, as part of #AmplifytheChildren, by creating new music based on the children’s testimony and presenting in this one-night concert. 100% of ticket receipts and any additional donations raised will be split between the non-profits Latinos Progresando in Chicago and Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) at the border.
