At the annual children’s Christmas Party on December 11 , 2019, at Willow Meadows Baptist Church in Houston, we learned about immigrant children who come to the United States for a better life.
We talked about children who are separated from their parents or other family members and the conditions for children who are held in government facilities. We then made 60 Christmas cards for asylum seeking children living in the Houston area.
