Demand that contract facilities for ORR provide education and recreation for the detained children

This is a public call for everyone to demand that your state licensing authorities ensure that all Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) contracted facilities are compliant with the educational and recreational requirements. The ORR is one of the authorities that the recent report by the Brookings Institution argues should be asserted and enforced to push back against abusive US immigration policies. This following letter was issued shortly after the US President ordered all facilities caring for immigrant children to discontinue educational and recreational activities. This is a great example of how state government (in this case, Texas!!!) is defending these children's rights through the enforcement of state licensing standards.
