Musician Joshua Kirch Amplifies the Smallest Voices

Updated: Jul 28, 2020

When Joshua Kirch heard about Neil Young's challenge to musicians to amplify the stories of child migrants documented by Project Amplify, he was immediately inspired to action. "After reading a few of the children's statements, I realized that I needed to give voice to as many of them as I reasonably could." Joshua and his wife Elisa took turns reading the sworn statements aloud, revealing the harrowing conditions that inspired the name of his album, "The Icebox and the Doghouse," and nine deeply moving songs. Joshua is donating all proceeds to The Young Center for Immigrant Children's Rights. Please support Joshua's efforts for the children here. We cannot adequately express our gratitude for Joshua's generous spirit and beautiful talent #AmplifytheChildren
