PBS Newshour's Amna Nawaz interviewed FLORES expert Dr. Alan Shapiro on US detaining children

September 17, 2019—PBS Newshour's Amna Nawaz interviewed Dr. Alan Shapiro of Terra Firma on the custody and care of children at the US Border. Dr. Alan Shapiro has toured US facilities that detained children separated from their families at the US border. Terra Firma also provides legal, medical and mental health as well as social welfare support to the unaccompanied children once they are in the US.
