Check out this card making event organized in Texas

Rev. Dr. Helen T. Boursier, senior pastor at Community Fellowship Presbyterian Church, New Braunfels, Texas, organized a card-making event as her congregation’s participation in the 2014 annual “Wassailfest” event held annually in downtown New Braunfels.

Children were invited to make Christmas cards for immigrant children who were detained in U.S. custody.

The public event raised public awareness of immigrant detention and generated more than 100 cards which were sent to immigrant children who were detained.
